Did Metformin help you conceive?

Hubby and I have been trying for about 7 months. I was just diagnosed with PCOS a month ago. I just currently started Metformin and I would love to hear some stories... hopefully success stories :) Did you lose weight from taking Metformin? Did it help regulate your period? How long after taking it did you get a period? (I have not had one in 3 months) And the BIGGG questions, how long after taking Metformin did you get your BFP??? I've heard it's a pretty "magical" pill for many women. Praying it works for me!
