I've received a cheque by mail; how do I get the money?

"Bank of Scotland" is the bank where Virgin Trains puts its money. You can deposit the cheque in any bank where you have an account. If the cheque is crossed, ie. two parallel lines marked on the left top corner of the cheque (sometimes it stated there account payee only), you must have an bank account of the same name of the payee on the face of the cheque and deposit the cheque into that account. If it is not crossed, you should be able to get cash at Bank of Scotland (where the bank knows there is money under the name of Virgin Trains) with your identity doent even you don't have a bank account in any bank. Of course, the payee is to be the same person as on the identity doent. You may try to cash it in banks other than Bank of Scotland in England as Virgin Trains is big company there.
