My phone was drenched in water yesterday, I kept it in a bag of rice to dry, now there's white screen.. help!!?

My problem is a bit different from other white screeen problems on the internet. The phone is a ASUS P320 touch screen PDA. As soon as I put the battery, a white light flashes from bottom left. I dont even switch it on, the light is there as soon as I put the battery. I just bout this one, please let me know if this can be solved, or i am in deep **** :(
